MoringaGarden - Quality makes the difference

Differences in quality and content of Moringa qualities
by dr. Markus Paul Forster

Moringa, in oversupply. Everywhere on the Internet, products emerge from the miracle tree. However, one finds almost exceptionally poor quality. What is touted as a superfood, often comes from Indian or other sources that grow moringa for animal feed or for the production of biogas or biodiesel. Organic certificates from such sources are no guarantee pesticides-free and herbicides-free products, and scandals such as "Salmonella in Moringa" are the result of unhygienic administration.

Considering all that Moringa has to offer, and the many feedbacks that Moringa can really bring about change and joie de vivre, Moringa should not only be called a superfood, but give it its own name. Moringa the most complete food, or just: Moringa, the Megafood!

Moringa canariensis (our red Moringa) with 400% more polyphenols.
This is where quality begins!

In no other food are so many ingredients and nutrients so complex, so concentrated and in such optimal composition as in the Tenerife Moringa.

Some ingredients that are especially popular are, for example:
- Polyphenols & vitamins with a described antioxidant effect
- Amino acids: important for protein buildup (muscle mass and immune system)
- zeatin and other phytohormones, promoting and regulating growth.
- Mustard oil glycosides: with anti-inflammatory action
- Trace elements: important components for enzyme reactions
- Minerals: osmotic balance, enzymes, bone structure ..
- Chlorophyll and group B vitamins: energy metabolism
- Lutein and zeaxanthin: important for ocular function, macula and retina.

For years MoringaGarden has been researching in Tenerife with Moringa. Again and again we are surprised by the results, which cannot be generalized but are different from case to case. It is clear that Moringa has a very positive impact on our overall well-being and performance. Moringa brings us "back to balance", in other words: regulates and brings us in time to a healthy primal or normal status. A status that our body sometimes no longer knows and therefore reacts "with pleasure" to it. With pleasure and brimming health.

In addition to all the positive feedback from Moringa consumers, new field trials are ongoing. Also to observe the positive effects on plants, such as the leaf extract, or the various changes on animals, such as dogs, horses, rodents and cats. Even shrimp breeders are increasingly using Moringa, with the result that they can admire healthy and extremely colorful specimens.

Empty food instead of food

What is this effect based on? Certainly it is the nature of Moringa and the harmonious and natural composition of the ingredients in the natural balance. We as stressed people, as part of nature, have forgotten how to listen to nature and to our body. And above all, we are increasingly buying cheap foods, some of which are already "free" of nutrients. Sterile nutriment without healthy ingredients and often also genetically modified. The word nutriment was intentionally used, not food, because we are actually only feeding in "dead calori

Synthetic vitamins and minerals are often incorporated into all sorts of foods. Often only for production reasons or to extend the shelf life. We feed on unhealthy and "empty" food and then balance our deficit with pharmaceutical supplements or synthetic vitamins.

Here one should finally realize how perverted our diet has become

There are artificial vitamins and additives everywhere: in cereals, drinks, in milk, in fats, in oils, in feed for animals. Even in organic dog food they are allowed. From multivitamin drinks to multivitamin supplements, we're being bombarded with a flood of artificial additives, and our bodies almost have to fight against these substances in order to be able to channel them instead of having a positive effect on us. Even the composition of supposedly healthy apples has changed dramatically in the last 50 years. Often we are only sold water that looks nice.

Expensive water and dangerous to it

What does Moringapowder to our body or ourwell-being, if it is not professionally grown and processed? Are all these eco-certifications really credible, or is it just window dressing?

Unfortunately, there are moringa products on the market that should not even be used for field trials with animals or as compost. Brown, almost yellowish powder, which is said to originate from Moringa leaves.

Moringa is green & smells of hay and tastes slightly hot!

If the Moringa powder does not dry properly, it will turn brownish. The result of insufficient and uncontrolled drying is, in addition to a high loss of vital substances, the residual moisture content. If this is too high, the harmful microorganisms can multiply over time. The consequences are diarrhea, abdominal twinging or worse...

In the following a comparison table of microbiological examinations of different Moringapulver from different suppliers.

The values speak for themselves. And as described, a further increase in the number of bacteria in the course of storage is to be expected.

Even with high-quality Moringapulver sometimes symptoms, such as abdominal twitching, possibly headache has been reported. This may be due to a detoxification reaction of the body or ingestion of the concentrated powder in a too high dose on an empty stomach. Here are usually the mustard oil glycosides the author of some stomach-pinching. Here one should suspend a day and start with smaller doses and distributed several times a day again with the supply. However, this "pinching" of the high-quality moringa powder is not a comparison with the stomach pain or diarrhea of a powder that is microbially contaminated. This is not a disadvantage, but a first step in the direction of "Back to balance".

Moringa - a smart adaptogen

Adaptogens are plants with an unusual characteristic: they react to the state of the human being. Its name derives from the Latin word adaptare = adapt. The adaptive adaptogens are not specialized in specific areas or disorders, but always balance where needed, so that the organism develops a greater adaptation to living conditions as a whole. Adaptogens dampen over-functions and stimulate sub-functions again. In this way, they harmonize the body, make it more resistant to stress, environmental influences and environmental pollution and strengthen well-being and vitality.

Differences in quality: what should be considered.

On the most diverse websites and sales sparks one finds a multiplicity of Moringa products from different sellers. All advertise with the same benefits and nutritional values of Moringa. If you read the different websites, you realize that all advertise with the same ingredient values and analytical values. All products, no matter which supplier, are the same and almost always use the same comparison tables. How is that possible?

Each harvest has a natural variation in its composition. Each growing area has different soil conditions and climates that affect the quality. For example, Tenerife has several microclimate zones of its own. It is an island in the Atlantic without contaminating industries. It is located at 28 degrees latitude and is often hit by hot calimas (sand dusts from the Sahara in the air). In Tenerife there is a 17 times stronger sunshine than in Germany.

The Moringas adapt to these extreme conditions and therefore also produce more vitamins, especially Vit. E and beta-carotenoids (precursors of Vit. A) and polyphenols.

Analyzes carried out at the University of La Laguna.

As you can easily see, the analysis results are very different.

The polyphenol content is almost 3 times higher than the average of other suppliers. The Vit C content is even more than 10 times !!! higher.

The Moringagarden has its own quality management. Internal and external laboratory analyzes guarantee top quality and what Moringa expects.

Vitamins and vital substances in Moringa

Many comparisons of ingredients are misleading and not entirely accurate. The manner in which Moringa is "touted" is very confusing, as it also tells of some studies that are not fake but scientifically elaborated and based studies of reputable universities. There are already about 750 scientific studies.

Often fresh goods (oranges, eggs, etc.) are compared with dried goods (Moringa powder). Nevertheless, there is literature / Internet research information, whre there is for example, vitamin C content in Moringa powder (27mg / 100g) lower than in fresh (220mg / 100g). How come? How should that work if the nutrients are concentrated while drying?

Paprika is not the same as paprika and Moringa is not the same as Moringa. Here one must clearly point out that it depends on the cultivation method and especially on the gentle processing. You can get the healthy ingredients only if it is dried professionally and gently.

Moringagarden has set itself the goal of pure (!) organic farming. Everyone can see our plantations. Here is still all manual work, without any not even approved fertilizers and sprays.

Vitamin content vary greatly depending on the crop, origin & processing

In series of analyzes at the University of La Laguna (Tenerife), samples of dried Moringa powder from Tenerife were analyzed and the whole department was amazed. Result: 904 mg VitC in 100g (that is almost 1% pure vitamin C) and over 4g / 100g polyphenol (about 4%) - in the dried powder!

According to internet research, there is about 17mg to 27mg / 100g Vitamine C are in Moringapowder!

For this purpose, the botansiche Institute in Gran Canaria (Canary Islands) was interviewed. The reason for this extreme increase in vitamins and polyphenols can be explained by the adaptation of Moringa plants to the extreme climate in Tenerife. The plant protects against wind, strong light radiation and predators. The result is an increased proportion of vitamins, polyphenols and mustard oil glycosides. Substances that occupy an extremely important position in our diet.

Similarly, in Moringa literature, 18 out of 20 amino acids are reported. We have detected all 20 of the 20 existing amino acids. This is spectacular for a plant. They are building blocks of proteins (muscle mass and immune system). The importance of the diversity of amino acids is enormous. If only a single amino acid is lacking in the construction of a protein, then the necessary protein cannot be built up properly and is eliminated again.

We also found spectacular levels of lutein at 259 mg / kg and zeaxanthin at 14 mg / kg. These are important for proper eye function and eyesight. They are found increasingly in the retina of the eye, in the so-called macula (yellow spot). These carotenoids are thought to act as a natural protective mechanism, as the retina, with its particularly oxidation-sensitive fatty acids, is particularly sensitive for free radicals.

Very high values (9595 IJQ / 100g) are also found in carotenoids or retinol equivalents. It should be able to prevent many diseases such as atherosclerosis, rheumatism, Alzheimer, cancer, and Parkinson's disease, cataracts or skin aging. Most act as so-called antioxidants. The anti-carcinogenic effect of carotenoids stems from their ability to produce an optimized functioning communication between the cells. In eyes, skin, liver and adipose textures, certain carotenoids are present in higher concentrations than in other textures. Like carotenoids, as with other phytochemicals, they should not be taken in the form of extracted, highly concentrated preparations, but in natural association with other dietary ingredients. The intake of high-dose preparations can even bring health risks.

Chlorophyll with amazing 270 mg per 100g in Moringa Powder has a key function in our oxygenation of the body and for functional lungs, the contained magnesium in the chlorophyll molecule strengthens muscles and nerves and is important for a healthy heart, it works antibacterial and suppresses anaerobic bacteria.

The phytohormone "Zeathin" occurs in Moringa in an amount up to 1000 times that of other plants. It optimizes cell growth and cell division, nutrient conversion and energy transport. Zeatin plays a key role in the recovery and absorption of vital substances such as vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Increases bioavailability up to 10 times. Zeatin brings the nutrients for health prophylaxis and cell division exactly where they are needed, and infects them into the body cell.

Every single substance with the highest bioavailability and each with its own "history" for our health.
In addition, this plant provides many trace elements, which are the "building blocks" of a properly functioning enzyme activity. Above all, the antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects of Moringa's ingredients such as polyphenols, mustard oil glycosides and vitamins should be given priority, not macronutrients or individual minerals.

Many feedbacks confirm that MoringaLEAF powder really "helps", brings us back to balance. Nobody has gone to the bottom of the matter so far. At least we try this. To justify this incredible power of this plant.

Moringa as an energy supplier - 100% eco and satisfied employees

Many visitors now come and sit in the midst of Moringas to gather new strength and energy. Maybe this energy comes about because we have satisfied and over-paid employees? Everyone is the same with us! No one is exploited or forced to work, or even child labor, as in other countries. This is not a publicity stunt, but one of our corporate philosophies. We'd better give up the cultivation!

Unfortunately, there are many providers who are only on the "make money" and sell cheap goods at a maximum price. Without control and without consideration for losses (health of the consumers)!

Unfortunately, who buys cheap, ultimately buys expensive. Like a cordless screwdriver.

Penible quality management and processing

Quality management starts with seed sowing and proper care and organic farming. After selection at harvest, the leaves enter the processing halls. After reselection and purification, the process of dehydration is followed by low temperature (40 ° C) to obtain as much as possible of all vital substances and enzymes. This process takes place in dark & hermetic chambers. After dehydration, one of the most important steps to obtain pure MoringaLEAF powder, without petioles, takes place. This is followed by 5-fold selection with vibration and vacuum turbines to pure leaf cutting. This leaf cut is then powdered in a purpose-built mill. The result: pure MoringaLEAF powder.

Where's the difference?

- The stalks, which have only a fraction of the antioxidant effect, are sorted out to 99%.
- The residual moisture content is below 7%.
- Growth of microorganisms is completely prevented by the extremely low aW value (water binding capacity) of 0.36.
- An Orac value of up to 115,000 TE μmol / 100g was measured. The Orac value, an American value, determines the ability of a food to neutralize free radicals.

Free radicals and oxidative stress are caused by negative environmental influences, stress, extreme sports and hyperacidity and are often triggers of many diseases, such as cancer, atherosclerosis and infarction (heart, brain), osteoarthritis, lung diseases, diseases of the central nervous system, premature aging (skin, brain, eye, etc.), liver damage and also allergies.

Social aspects in Moringa cultivation

The company Moringagarden was chosen in 2014 as the company with the strongest employee growth in the Canary Islands. With 34% unemployment on the islands, our reputation as an employer and our ambition to "bring top Moringa to the people as a pure and full-fledged FOOD". Thus, we make a big contribution to ensure a regular income for many families. Fair treatment and above-salary wages weld together this Moringagarden team so strongly that the Moringagarden grows rapidly and there is now even a theme and visitor park (www.moringapark.eu). A positive energy that can be considered an important "ingredient" of our quality products.

Our corporate philosophy can be expressed in a few words:
- Live and let live.
- He who does good, gets back twice as much good.
- We only sell what we would eat ourselves.
- Top quality, which is very favorable in the price-quality ratio.
- Back to balance ... with yourself, with your fellow human beings and with our Mother Nature.

Producing quality involves a lot of effort and controls. Confidence is good, but a serious and professional contact with the manufacturer is indispensable nowadays.

As we see it Moringa has earned the name: The name miraculous tree.

Moringa, probably the most valuable and most nutrient-containing food.
